In order to allow for longer visits and be free from limitation of medical insurance, Beyond Basics Medical Practice does not accept any insurance. The payment of membership fees covers the access to physician, hospital visits, and office visits with Beyond Basics physician.
Most patients will need medical insurance in addition to the membership fee for the Beyond Basics Medical Practice. Insurance is needed for coverage of specialist consultations, medical procedures, immunizations, hospitalizations, emergency room visits, laboratory studies, radiology imaging, and medications.
Patients usually participate in Flexible Spending Account or Healthcare Savings Account which allows the membership charges of Beyond Basics Medical Practice to be deducted from taxable income.
